charity21 - modernising charities through new media

We believe in a genuine approach and we won't pay lip service or bandy with terms

We hope that sounds refreshing. At Charity21 we stand for openness, critical thinking and enjoyment. New Media should be challenging, exciting and productive. Our services should be in-context and ready to implement. Why not read our testimonials?

Sarah Hughes is Charity21's owner and lead consultant.

After almost 9 years at CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) where Sarah had international responsibility for the organisation's diverse web presence, business strategy and e-communications, Sarah started Charity 21.

Sarah has previously sat on the boards and committees of a variety of Internet bodies in the UK and abroad. Her growing family, with its most recent addition now 1 year old, has meant that the past couple of years have been focused on client work and other responsibilities! Sarah has also contributed to the general media and sector journals on charities use of information communication technology.

In 2006 Sarah chaired the Institute of Fundraising Working Party tasked with expanding and updating the Internet Fundraising Code of Practice. This year she will chair their New Media Fundraising Conference for the second time.
