Clients and their consultants have much to teach one another; it’s a happy balance called team work!

Big Society Network

As of December 2011, Sarah is delighted to be working alongside nfpSynergy once more,  on a new, exciting research report into the ‘Big Picture’ of technology-enabled giving for the Big Society Network and Spring Giving. Results should be available in early 2012.

nfpSynergySarah has had a long association with the UK’s leading research consultancy nfpSynergy.  Since 2000, their Virtual Promise Survey has tracked charities’ use of the internet on an annual basis and Sarah was one of the first contributors to the format of the research. She has supported and input into it ever since. In June 2008, Sarah co-authored the research report “Passion, Persistence and Partnerships: the secrets to earning more online” alongside Joe Saxton, and Sarah X.

Citizenship Foundation

The Citizenship Foundation is an education and participation charity which inspires people – from children though to adults – to engage with society as active members of it. In 2010 they commissioned Charity21 to conduct a review of their online branding and develop a strategy to unify their main website and microsites. It was a pleasure uncovering the depths of all they do, and thanks to them my 8 year old son was intoduced to GoGivers - an empowering, educational resource for children!

The South West Widlife Trusts, part of the national body

South West

The South West Wildlife Trusts are 8 of the 47 national trusts who work to safeguard Britain’s wildlife and biodiversity. So it was a pleasure to take on their commission to audit their 8 websites, develop a unifying strategy, and conceptualise a new community site to herald all of their work in common. A important part of the project was an audit of the Internet competencies, activities and resources across the 47 national Trusts, achieved using an adapted version of the Virtual Promise internet survey, thanks to nfpSynergy. This produced some invaluable benchmarks for the group, showed exactly who was doing what, highlighted the leaders and identified those needing more support.
