be more squirrel

As you scout for acorns don't forget to  take time for the breeze

Warm thanks to Walter Bulmer for giving me permission to use his wonderful photograph. Visit his Flickr for more delights.

The thing about squirrels is that they always seem to enjoy the pursuit

Transformation is best found in the spaces between our actions. Doesn't it ring true that in our moments of intuition, introspection and pause, we find our best ideas and decisions come to us un-obstructed?

We are all simply putting too much pressure on ourselves and forcing things when breakthrough lies in our moments of synergy - or 'Wu Wei'.

Wu Wei in Taoism means natural action; action that does not involve struggle or excessive effort, but that comes from a mental state of alignment. It is similar to our 'less is more' and I liken it to Lean - no waste. Right now we are constantly being encouraged to waste our attention in consumption (of continuous information, media, action) rather than on connection. That connection starts with ourselves, our inner worlds, our mental health and our relationships with others.

Lean Impact Transformation (LIT) is my take on author Ann Mei Chang's 'Lean Impact' functional methodology to lock in the human piece. I focus on how we transform effortlessly by recognising and paying attention to the fact that we already have all the resources, wisdom and energy we need for more and better innovation.

So what is LIT and why is it needed, now more than ever?
