I'm a social innovation, philanthropy and impact investing specialist interested in repairing our shared society
Eons back, My career start was as a translator, then an EU cross-border project manager, followed by a long pioneering stint at the Charities Aid Foundation where I designed some digital first-to-market solutions for the Third Sector. I went freelance when I started a family, creating strategies for charities and social enterprises. I have also enjoyed an 8 year trajectory at my own angel-funded traveltech startup. More recently, I was an Exec at the Beacon Collaborative. I am an adviser with Apps for Good and Charizone, trustee at Project Lighthouse and cofounder of music wellness app Mishi.
I started my career in as a translator and then a coordinator, working on cross-border projects in the EU. This was followed by some time in publishing and then I found my spot when I began a long pioneering stint at the Charities Aid Foundation, where I was privileged to design some firsts in digital transformation for the Third Sector.
Not one to stay in her lane, she has also enjoyed an 8 year trajectory at her own travel technology startup, and several bright layovers as a strategy & digital consultant for charities and social enterprises.
Alongside her current role as Philanthropy Network Director at the Beacon Collaborative, she is an adviser with Apps for Good and Charizone, trustee of Project Lighthouse and cofounder of a therapeutic music app called Mishi.
Sarah is passionate about collaboration and the democratisation of knowledge and tools for social good.
